These terms and conditions are between you (the Purchaser) and Burtie Learning Ltd (the Company). They do not affect your rights under statutory law. The terms of service are also governed by and construed in accordance with UK law.

Using the website indicates that you accept the terms and conditions as set out below.

We, the Company, (Burtie Learning Ltd) may revise these terms and conditions from time to time and it is your responsibility to review them.

ORDERS

When you order from the Company via our website www.burtielearning.com you will receive an email acknowledgement.

Our acceptance of an order (Purchase contract) will take place when we dispatch the order, even if immediate payment has been obtained.

We may refuse an order in the absence of available goods, or if there is a pricing, or a description error, or if payment has not been authorised.

The Company reserves the right to change pricing at any time.

Promotion and discount codes must be applied at the checkout. They will only be applied to full price items and not to Sale or reduced-price items.  Unless you obtain a specific shipping code, the promotion/discount code will be excluded from shipping costs.

Burtie Learning Ltd reserves the right to cancel any promotion/discount codes at any time.

DELIVERY

Your order will be delivered to the ‘Delivery Address’ you itemised when submitting the order. If you require delivery to a different address there may be an additional cost. We will not be liable for any items not received due to you giving us a wrong address.

We aim to deliver all UK orders within 7 working days, however, during busy periods we cannot guarantee this. Please select Next Day service if you require the items by a certain date.

If you would like to cancel an order for any reason you can notify us through www.burtielearning.com/contact-us before we have dispatched the items to you.

Burtie Learning Ltd will not be held responsible if for any reason our website has any technical issues and as a result you cannot make a purchase at the time. We will make every effort to ensure we are back operational as soon as possible

RETURNS

If your products are no longer wanted for any reason, you have 14 days from the date on which you received them to return them to us at:

Please ensure that you return your goods unused in the original unopened packaging in resalable condition for an exchange or full refund. Failure to do so will result in the refund not being processed.

 Procedure

  1. Let us know by contacting us that you wish to return your order through our ‘Contact Us’ section on our website. We will respond with a Returns Form that will need to be completed.

  2. Send the product to us with the completed Returns Form, ensuring that it arrives with us within the returns period referred to above.

  3. We will email you to notify you that we have received your returned order.

  4. We will refund to you the price you paid for the product being returned. We will refund money using the same method used to make the payment.

  5. You will be responsible for paying the return postage, and we recommend you use recorded delivery with insurance rather than ‘proof of posting’ which is not a proof of receipt. The returned item is your responsibility until it reaches us.

  6. Refunds are normally processed within 7 days of receipt.

Very occasionally goods may have a manufacturing fault, or get damaged in transit. We will of course refund or replace such items at no cost to you. Please ensure that you contact us (www.burtielearning.com/contact-us), and return the product within 14 days of its receipt by you.

If you would prefer a refund, we will refund to you the price you paid to us for the product, the original delivery charge and reasonable costs you may incur in returning the product to us.

Unfortunately, personalised goods, or any product made to order cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at www.burtielearning.com/contact-us. If we have not yet despatched your goods we will happily cancel the order, otherwise please follow the procedure for returns.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

We offer our 14-day returns period in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.

Child Protection

Photos sent in to Burtie Learning Ltd social media accounts must comply with child protection guidelines and we can refuse to put any pictures on Burtie Learning Ltd social media or website; or remove them at any given time. Please make sure children are fully clothed and do not add any personal information about them on the photo. By sending in a photo of your child you are permitting Burtie Learning Ltd to upload these for promotional purposes only on the Burtie Learning Ltd social media or website.
